Pokémon Champions will feature a battle pass and a subscription

While it will be available as a free download on Switch starting April 8 (and later on mobile), Pokémon Champions will, of course, include microtransactions. The first details on this have come to us via the YouTube channel PanFro Games.

Pokémon Champions will feature a battle pass

The Pokémon battle-focused game will offer a starter pack priced at $9.99. It will expand the box capacity from 30 to 80 slots, include exclusive music, training tickets, and quick tickets.

Additionally, a free Battle Pass will be available, as well as a $6.99 “Premium” option. The latter will unlock additional rewards and exclusive outfits.

Finally, a $49.99 annual subscription will allow players to store more Pokémon in their box, use more battle teams simultaneously, and access exclusive missions and music.
