Jose Mourinho has reportedly delivered up to 10 uncompromising demands to Real Madrid as the Spanish giants plunge deeper into crisis.

Mourinho is ready to rejoin Real Madrid

According to The Athletic, President Florentino Perez is accelerating plans to orchestrate Mourinho's return to the Bernabeu for a second tenure. The Portuguese tactician is widely considered the leading candidate to replace Alvaro Arbeloa. Real Madrid currently faces the stark prospect of a second consecutive trophyless season. The club's internal dynamics are reportedly fraught with persistent conflict, the dressing room has spiraled out of control, and faith in Arbeloa has practically evaporated.

Amidst this turmoil, Perez believes Mourinho possesses the formidable character required to rebuild the squad. Negotiations with the "Special One" are actively progressing through super-agent Jorge Mendes. Although currently satisfied at Benfica, Mourinho has left the door open for a Madrid comeback, provided his conditions are unequivocally met.

The publication Esdario reports that Mourinho is demanding a minimum two-year contract, coupled with absolute control over the squad and the dressing room. He refuses to accept any player interference in tactical decisions, particularly regarding lineup selections.

Furthermore, Mourinho intends to bring his entire trusted coaching staff to the Bernabeu, simultaneously demanding the departure of fitness coach Antonio Pintus. He also seeks direct oversight of the club's medical department following Real's relentless injury crises this season.

The 63-year-old strategist has also requested that his responsibilities be strictly confined to coaching and press conferences, declining to serve as the club's media figurehead. Crucially, Mourinho insists on reporting directly to Perez, bypassing other club executives, in a stark departure from the structure of his initial stint at Real Madrid.

Furthermore, the manager has reportedly identified seven current squad members who do not feature in his long-term plans. Mourinho is also firmly opposed to grueling, densely packed summer tour schedules, preferring a more measured approach to pre-season friendlies to safeguard the players' physical and psychological well-being.

Crucially, Mourinho views these stipulations as an uncompromising, non-negotiable package deal. Should even a single one of the ten demands be rejected by the club hierarchy, the prospect of a Real Madrid reunion will instantaneously collapse.
