Apple unveiled the Duo alongside the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in the U.S. on Sept. 9. It has a 5.5-inch outer display that unfolds into a 7.8-inch screen, uses Touch ID instead of Face ID and features two 48-megapixel rear cameras.
Pre-orders in Malaysia will open Oct. 16, with sales beginning Oct. 23.
At the other end of the ranking, Türkiye is the world's most expensive place to buy the 256GB Duo at $4,730, more than twice the U.S. price.
Brazil is the second-most expensive market at $4,281. India is the most expensive in Asia and third-most expensive globally at $3,129.
