Lewandowski to Manchester United?
With Robert Lewandowski set to become a free agent when his Barcelona contract expires this summer, the Polish striker’s potential move to Manchester United has unexpectedly become a major talking point in England. Speaking to GOAL, former United forward Louis Saha admitted that Lewandowski remains a highly valuable option for the club. Boasting 109 Champions League goals, the Polish talisman is viewed as a player who could bring invaluable experience to Michael Carrick’s side ahead of their return to Europe's elite club competition.

Lewandowski currently has no new club
"I would consider it. He has immense Champions League experience and would undoubtedly benefit the team. Lewandowski can score 15 to 20 goals a season while providing vital dressing-room leadership," Saha noted.
However, the French icon does not believe Manchester United should build their future around a 37-year-old forward. According to Saha, Lewandowski would only serve as a short-term fix, mirroring the impact Zlatan Ibrahimović once made at Old Trafford.
Saha specifically emphasized that what United truly need is a profile closer to Kylian Mbappé. He pointed out that Benjamin Šeško already occupies the central striker role for the team and shares a fairly similar playing style to Lewandowski.
At present, prominent transfer market experts, including Fabrizio Romano, have not reported any ongoing negotiations between Manchester United and Lewandowski.
Nevertheless, Saha's comments highlight a noteworthy perspective: should United continue to invest in their frontline, they should prioritize a dynamic, pacey forward capable of creating breakthroughs, rather than adding another orthodox center-forward.
